Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Dunn Wright Roofing & Exteriors wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website. We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we keep reviewing and improving the site.

What We Have Done

• A visible focus indicator on every link, button and field, with a three-band ring on buttons so it shows on light, dark and orange backgrounds.
• A skip-to-content link, one main heading per page and headings in order.
• A visible label on every form field. Errors are explained in a sentence, tied to the field for screen readers and never shown by color alone.
• The "What do you need?" choices on the quote form are real checkboxes in a labeled group, so they work with the keyboard and announce their state.
• Alternative text on every photo of our work. Decorative images and icons are marked so screen readers skip them. Star ratings are always written out as text.
• A mobile menu that keeps focus inside it, closes with Escape and returns focus to the menu button.
• Tap targets of at least 44 pixels on phones, and form text of at least 16 pixels.
• Text and buttons meet 4.5:1 contrast. Our brand orange carries black text on buttons, and orange text on white uses a darker shade of the same color.
• Support for the reduced-motion setting, which turns animation off. No animation runs longer than about a second.

Known Limitations

• Our logo's tagline, "Roofing & Exteriors," is small in the header on phones. The business name is also written out as text on every page and in the logo's accessible name.
• We have not yet tested the site with real users of screen readers or other assistive technology. Our review has been done in the code, with the keyboard and by measuring contrast in a browser.
